Tackling technical marine challenges has been in Anthony’s blood since his first boat project at the age of eight: a 10ft skiff he built with his father. Having qualified and worked as both a marine engineer and captain, Anthony’s 1998 debut into yachting at a technically based project management firm saw him heading up some of the most advanced new build superyacht projects with the world’s top superyacht builders. He founded Edge Yachts in 2012 based on the philosophy of providing project and yacht management services that assist the captain and crew in keeping the owner’s interests the number one priority.

Mark first started out his professional career at sea over 45 years ago, living and working on a yacht and then working for the US Coast Guard between 1981 and 2004. During this time, he served in positions enforcing federal maritime law, environmental protection regulations and marine safety standards, which provided him with the ideal background to become a yacht management guru with an eye for detail and instinct for onboard safety. After serving two commands, he retired from the US Coast Guard and worked in superyacht management for six years before founding Edge Yachts with Anthony.
